just came back from part-time work.
today's drum student is just a 5 yr old kid, hyperactive. so tiring to keep him down n make him focus for 1 hour, but i'm very happy when the other teachers outside said i did a good job, cos he's quite a difficult kid to handle.. =)
happy 'saje' .. =)

going to have cell group xmas party on coming fri night, i'm supposed to bring drinks, but still dunno what to buy, green tea? yeo's? dunnoo.. gonna ask seow ching tomorrow night during badminton session, she's the best female badminton player i've ever seen.

home PC n laptop spoiled, now blogging at cyber cafe.

i think i'm gonna make xmas cards n a little gift for yamaha staffs at danga bay, they don't have holiday for christmas..
hope i'm able to cheer them up a bit.

maybe this plan might not work out, but I'll do my best, at least be a much better drummer and at least earn a bike & downpayment for a house.

Let's put in this way, you want to buy a double-storey terrace house. By the time i can afford it's about RM230,000.

Downpayment 10% = RM23,000
Balance needed loan = RM207,000
8% interest for 10 years = RM2,511.48/month

RM23,000.
If earn RM4000/month as salary, need about 8 months.


Ok, how to earn RM4000/month.

1 student = RM41.25/month
100 students = RM4,125/month

50 hours/week, over 6 days = slightly more than 8 hours/day



Aim for 100 students within 15 months.

Take into account: Kancil = RM30,000 ; Bike = RM3,600

Grade 8 in drums n stuffs

Richard, one of the well-known drummers in JB, told me that to have passed grade 8 drums of Trinity-Guildhall's Rockschool is actually quite easy.

ai yar, hurt my pride a little. Dawned on me that drumming is a lifelong education, and earning a pass in grade 8 is just.. merely.. a beginning.


well, besides the usual =/ i guess it's great to know that drumming has so much to offer, and i am yet to be a good drum teacher.


My goal is to be a full-time drummer that earns at least, at least.. RM5000/month by year 2008 so that my parents will be comfortable, n I'm able to buy an 'ok' drumset (for teaching), a bike (n maybe a kancil too), n a good house.


I want to be like Paul Jackson Jr or Abraham Laboriel, they're one of the most in-demand musicians in the world, very skillful n experienced, and they're christians who showed the world that they are christians.. =)
